THE VINEYARD
Emblematic agricultural estate of the Marina Alta (Alicante), in the department of Les Basses de Teulada, with a soft relief, located on a hill of white and clay soils, with a high proportion of white limestone, oriented towards the east. The vineyard receives moisture from the ravine of the Font de l'Horta and the sea breeze of the Mediterranean Sea. The Trapadell is cultivated in an organic way and certified by the Committee of Organic Agriculture of the Valencian Community (CAECV).
LA TRAPADELL 2020
The single Trapadell white wine is a minority variety in the process of being revived.
Carefully harvested by hand with double sorting, in vineyard and winery. After 24h of cold maceration with the skins, a gentle pressing and settle down is performed. Fermentation is kept at lower than 20ºC during 20 days. In the last stage of fermentation the free run is racked to keep the finest lees for a six months aging period.
TASTING NOTE
La Trapadell is a bright yellow wine with greenish edging.
In the entrance nose dominate the aromas of white fruit and then come out those of white flower and fleshy fruit.
In the mouth we find a very good acidity. It is a fresh and unctuous wine.
A 100% gastronomic wine.
